I got the pleasure of working with Victoria Wilson, the incredibly talented designer of the Momdana. Momdana is a fashionable scarf that turns into a sleek nursing cover. Victoria was nice enough to send me one since I am a nursing mother myself and let me tell you what – I love it! I use it every time we’re out and about. I am really excited to finally reveal her brand launch!
Victoria wanted her brand to resonate with new mama’s. She wanted her brand to convey a classy, cozy feel with a hint of whimsical charm. Victoria is super smart too because instead of putting the cart before the horse and selling her product without a brand she is waiting to finalize her brand design and packaging before launching nationally. I definitely recommend launching on a small scale and getting a feel for your marketplace then building a brand before you do a large launch. You’ll be better prepared and your business will run more smoothly.
Victoria is selling her scarfs locally and is now selling them on Etsy! If you’re a nursing mama. I’d definitely recommend you check it out, here.
If you’re thinking of opening your own Etsy shop soon then you’ll benefit from reading this post about building a stronger Etsy brand presence.
