As we usher in 2024, it’s time to reflect on the year gone by and plan for the exciting possibilities ahead. At Carrylove Designs, we’ve had a transformative year in 2023, and we’re eager to share our insights and upcoming strategies.
In 2023, we embraced content creation wholeheartedly, boosting our blog posts by a staggering 1000%. From just 2 posts in 2022, we soared to 22 in 2023. This monumental increase not only amplified our SEO efforts but also enriched our connection with our audience.
Video content, while challenging, was an area we explored with enthusiasm. We released 2 new videos, experimented with YouTube Shorts, and ventured into Instagram Reels. Although video wasn’t our main strategy, it opened new avenues for engagement and creativity.
Email marketing took a front seat in our strategy. We tried various methods to grow our list, from email swaps and in-person events to challenges and online summits. Our goal was ambitious – to grow from 2,100 to 4,500 subscribers. We ended the year with around 2,800, adding 700 valuable members to our community.
Launching is a passion at CLD. In 2023, we conducted three major launches in February, September, and December, generating $180,000 in sales. Launching will continue to be a focal point in 2024 as we refine and learn from each experience.
We’ve had numerous conversations about expanding beyond the wedding industry. Our focus is now shifting towards the travel industry and personal brand coaching, areas that align closely with our expertise.
Speaking at events is always exhilarating. In 2023, I had the privilege of speaking in Orlando and Wisconsin. My aim for 2024 is to speak at four events, including the prestigious Wedding MBA.
