January brought so many things to be grateful for! 2016 has started out phenomenal so far. Here are the five things I am most grateful for in January!
Right after the New Year, we went to the doctor and saw Baby Shuman for the first time in 3 months. The first thing Baby did was give us a wave – it was so cool to see! It was like it was saying “Hi, Mommy!”
I’m lucky enough to have a husband who loves to cook, so we enjoyed many of good dinners this month. My mother gave us a Potato Bag for Christmas which has been amazing. So we’ve enjoyed baked potatoes three times this month. If you sew, here is a free pattern to create your own potato bag.
January has been unseasonably warm which makes me sad and happy. I like winter and being all bundled up but the weather being spring-like has given us the ability to take adventures to Walnut Creek and Mueller Park.
Recently we hosted a gender reveal party where we found out if we’re having a little cupcake or stud muffin! Stay tuned to find out in a later post – I can’t wait to share all the beautiful pictures! More recently within the last couple of days, Baby Shuman has started kicking hard enough for my husband to feel as well!
I’m on a journey of being a first-time mother and I’m a new wife so basically I’m just winging everything and hoping it goes well which I’m having fun doing. I can’t wait for May to be here so we can finally hold Baby Shuman. We move into our new place soon, so I can begin work on getting the nursery ready!
